Meet the founder-Harshit Upadhyay

Harshit Upadhyay is the Founder and Creative Director of Veliod, an emerging Indian luxury lifestyle brand built on the philosophy of timeless design, refined craftsmanship, and meaningful experiences.

Harshit’s entrepreneurial journey began much earlier than Veliod. At the age of 11, he developed a strong interest in business and entrepreneurship. During the COVID-19 period, he started a small community-based venture in his residential colony. He created simple handwritten lists featuring easy-to-make food items, jamun, and seasonal fruits, and distributed them among residents. Orders were received through his mother’s phone number, after which Harshit and his friends would prepare, arrange, and deliver the products to customers.

What began as a small childhood initiative became one of his earliest lessons in entrepreneurship—understanding customer needs, promoting an idea, managing orders, working with a team, delivering value, and earning through effort.

Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship, creativity, and brand-building, Harshit later founded Veliod with a vision to create more than products—to build a distinctive Indian luxury house that is crafted to be remembered.

Veliod began with the belief that true luxury is not defined by excess, but by attention to detail, quality, identity, and the emotions a product creates. Through thoughtfully designed fragrances and future lifestyle collections, the brand aims to bring a modern and elevated interpretation of luxury to a new generation.

As a young entrepreneur, Harshit combines creativity, leadership, public speaking, media creation, and a strong interest in storytelling to shape Veliod’s identity and long-term vision. His journey reflects a belief that meaningful ventures often begin with simple ideas, curiosity, and the willingness to turn imagination into action.
